Susan Sarandon's sons used to want to marry her.

The 'Thelma and Louise' actress - who has sons Jack, 20, and 17-year-old Miles with partner Tim Robbins - says her "sexual" boys were keen to wed their mother and she had to tell them it wasn't possible.

Susan Sarandon encouraged her daughter to play a stripper.

The Oscar-winning actress told 24-year-old Eva Amurri to take on the role in US TV show 'Californication' - which involves her baring her body - as she had the figure to do it.

Eva said: "I wasn't sure but mom reassured me and told me to do it while I was young."

However, Eva admits her brothers - Jack, 20, and 17-year-old Miles - weren't so impressed.

Susan Sarandon has posed semi-naked for a new book.

The actress - who turns 62 tomorrow (04.10.08) - is pictured lying on her back wearing only fishnet tights and a feather boa in 'Hollywood Pinups', by Timothy White.

Speaking about the photoshoot, Susan said: "What a treat to play in the world of the beautiful, perfect pin-up fantasy."

Susan Sarandon supports Miley Cyrus' partially naked photo shoot.

'Speed Racer' star Sarandon doesn't understand why there is such uproar surrounding photos of the 15-year-old Disney star in Vanity Fair magazine.

Sarandon told BANG Showbiz: "My daughter was naked in the Maplefords book when she was two. Annie Leibowitz is a great photographer, she's physical, and it's kind of hard to bust Hannah Montana when there are kids in underwear on the sides of buses."
