Robert Pattinson doesn't smell.

The actor has scoffed at claims he's been upsetting the cast and crew on the set of new movie 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' by not showering, and insists his personal hygiene is exemplary.

When asked about the rumours, Pattinson said: "I do shower! And besides I haven't even been on the set yet!"

The 22-year-old hunk also defended other actors who have been accused of causing a stink on set.

Robert Pattinson stinks.

The British actor reportedly never showers and his body odour is infuriating cast and crew on the set of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon'.

A source close to the star - who returns as vampire Edward Cullen in the film - said: "He stinks. I mean, it's awful. He never showers, and it drives people on the set crazy. He completely reeks."

Robert's lack of personal hygiene could be one of the reasons behind his unsuccessful sex life in the US.

Robert Pattinson has been moaning about his quiet sex life.

The British hunk was overheard telling a friend at Nur Khan's Rose bar on Saturday night (14.03.09) that women have been too shy to approach him since he was propelled to fame in vampire movie 'Twilight'.

Robert Pattinson's sisters used to dress him as a girl and call him 'Claudia'.

The 'Twilight' star - who plays vampire Edward in the new movie - confessed he wasn't so "cool" when he was younger.

He said: "Up until I was 12, my sisters used to dress me up as a girl and introduce me as Claudia. Twelve was a real turning point for me as I moved to a mixed school, and then I became cool and discovered hair gel."
