Ricky Martin is feeling "stronger than ever" after coming out as gay.

The 38-year-old singer, who revealed he is homosexual in an emotional message on his official website, took to twitter to thank his fans for their support.

He wrote: "Whats going on gang?I'm doing great! Stronger than ever! I'm here relaxing @ home enjoying ur messages! I feel the love! Thanx for all! peace(sic)"

Ricky Martin has revealed he is gay.

The 38-year-old singer has previously alluded to being bisexual, but finally revealed on his website yesterday (29.03.10) he is gay, saying he is "proud" of who he is.

Writing on his official site, rickymartinmusic.com, he said: "I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."

Ricky Martin cried when his sons were born.

The singer, who became a father in August when an unnamed surrogate mother gave birth to his biological twins Matteo and Valentino, was overcome with emotion in the delivery room after seeing the babies for the first time.
