Rebecca Romijn felt like a "milk machine" when she gave birth to her twins last year.

The 'X-Men' star - who stopped breastfeeding nine-month-old daughters Dolly and Charlie last month - could not believe how much milk she needed to produce to keep two babies happy.

The 36-year-old actress said: "I finished nursing three weeks ago. And yes, I was a milk machine! I felt like that's all I was to them, just this walking milk machine."

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell are expecting twins.

The Hollywood couple - who revealed recently they had been trying for their first child - will be welcoming two babies into the world this winter, their representative has confirmed.

A source close to 34-year-old Jerry said: "Jerry really couldn't be happier about becoming a dad."
