Rachel Stevens took her driving test drunk.

The 'Strictly Come Dancing' star steadied her nerves with some drinks before taking the gruelling examination when she was just 17 but her plan backfired and she crashed into a stationary car and left her examiner terrified.

Rachel Stevens has only just conquered stage fright.

The former S Club 7 singer claims she only learned how to deal with the debilitating condition during her recent stint on UK TV talent show 'Strictly Come Dancing', despite being in the public eye for over a decade
