Pink "never" goes on dates.

The feisty singer - who separated from husband Carey Hart earlier this year - prefers to meet men in less pressurised situations.

She said: "I meet boys all over the place. It's just that I don't ever go on dates. I have never been on a date. I don't believe in that, it has to be organic. A barbecue, a show or whatever. I have never met anybody in a bar."

The fiesty singer - who landed her first US number one with her new single 'So What' - believes people in the States still consider her to be unhinged because of her turbulent life, despite phenomenal record sales.

She said: "No one could believe I was number one. They still think I'm a psycho back home.

"I just laugh and don't pay attention. I guess I'm pretty much all over the place.

Pink saws down a tree bearing a love heart containing her and estranged husband Carey Hart's names in her new music video.

The singer - real name Alecia Moore - is seen attacking the tree branded with a heart saying 'Alecia and Carey' in the video for her new single 'So What'.

Lyrics to the track include: "I guess I just lost my husband. I don't know where he went. So I'm gonna drink my money. I'm not gonna pay his rent (nope)... I hate marriage.
