McFly star Dougie Poynter has a crush on Gordon Ramsay.

The bassist - who makes up the British boy band with Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones and Harry Judd - was proud to reveal his unusual crush, and explained what it is he likes about the foul-mouthed TV chef.

He said: "My top crush this year has to be Gordon Ramsay. I'm a massive fan! I think it's the way he dominates things."

Dougie's bandmate Harry has amorous designs on another famous face.

McFly are writing a book of sex tips.

Dougie Poynter, who plays bass guitar for the British band, admits the group are becoming so well known for their sexual prowess that they are now keen to put their advice on paper - but admits it won't be out for a while.

He said: "We are writing a book of sex tips. It's going to be pretty epic, but we aren't releasing it until 2060 when all our wives are dead."

McFly star Danny Jones was once sent a monkey dressed like him by a fan.

The singer - who makes up the British band with Dougie Poynter, Tom Fletcher and Harry Judd - was stunned when he received the unusual present through the post.

He said: "I got sent a monkey dressed as me once! Now that really was quite weird!"

McFly's Harry Judd has revealed the band were thrown out of three bars and beaten up by a bouncer - all in one day.

The 22-year-old star was in Australia with his bandmates when they ran into trouble at various drinking establishments during a marathon alcohol session.

He said: "We got chucked out of three bars in one day, and I got slapped around the face by a bouncer - all before 7pm. Crazy!"
