Matt Smith has to wear a "hoodie and a pair of shades" to buy a pint of milk since he landed the lead role in 'Doctor Who'.

The 28-year-old actor admits he has been astonished by the public's positive reaction to him since he stepped inside the TARDIS as the Time Lord in the BBC One sci-fi show.

Matt Smith is thrilled with the new 'Doctor Who' video game.

The Time Lord and his assistant Amy Pond - who are played by the 28-year-old actor and actress Karen Gillan in the BBC One sc-fi show respectively - have become pixelated characters in the new Nintendo Wii title 'Doctor Who: Return To Earth'.

Matt and Karen both lent their voices to the adventure and according to the game's writer Oli Smith the actor was very excited to be part of the project.

'Doctor Who' fans are going to be able to fly the TARDIS in a new interactive exhibition.

The 'Doctor Who Experience' will allow visitors to pilot the time machine and also fight the Time Lord's arch-enemies the Daleks when it opens at London's Olympia on Sunday February 20, 2011.

Matt Smith faced a terrifying array of monsters at the opening night of the 'Doctor Who Live!' show yesterday (08.10.10).

The actor - who plays The Doctor in the BBC One sci-fi series -children and adults alike were left quaking in their seats as Cybermen, Judoon, Silurians and Daleks battled it out at London's Wembley Arena in the spectacular production, which featured live music, special effects, explosions and plenty of shocks.

Daisy Lowe is allegedly dating Matt Smith.

The underwear model was spotted walking hand in hand with the 'Doctor Who' star at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in California yesterday (18.04.10).

The pair reportedly met three months ago during a night out in Camden, London.

A source said: "They hit it off immediately and the chemistry between them was obvious from the start.
