The 22-year-old singer - famous for her flesh-flashing fashion choices - says her school friends used to tell her she oozed sex appeal even when covered up by sensible clothes.

The singer only dons tiny hotpants and see-through outfits because her partially sighted grandparent finds lighter shades easier to spot.

She told Rolling Stone magazine: "My grandmother is basically blind, but she can make out the lighter parts, like my skin and hair. She says, 'I can see you, because you have no pants on.' So I'll continue to wear no pants so that my grandma can see me."

Lady GaGa has recorded two tracks with Mark Ronson.

The 'Just Dance' singer - who was in London last week to support the Pussycat Dolls on tour and promote her album 'The Fame' - spent some time in the studio with Ronson - who has masterminded hits for Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen and the Kaiser Chiefs.

A source said: "They worked on a couple of tracks which have a vintage feel."
