Nicole Kidman had to shower with a garden hose while on location in Australia.

The actress woke one morning to find there was no running water in the area she was staying in Kununurra - where she was shooting director Baz Luhrmann's latest movie 'Australia' - so had to improvise.

She wrote in her diary: "The day starts a little strange. There is no water, so I have to shower under the garden hose.

Nicole Kidman has a "more evolved" love with Keith Urban than she did with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

The actress - who welcomed daughter Sunday Rose with country singer Keith into the world in July - never thought she could fall in love again after splitting from Tom, with who she has two adopted children.

Nicole Kidman gave birth to a baby girl this morning (07.07.08).

The actress delivered her first child with husband Keith Urban in Nashville, Tennessee, it has been confirmed.

The couple have named their daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, and the tot weighed a healthy 6 lbs 7.5 oz.

Spokesman for the pair Paul Freundlich said: "Keith was by Nicole's side, and mother and baby are very well."

Keith Urban has bought his pregnant wife Nicole Kidman a $73,000 ring to give her when she gives birth.

The country star plans to give Nicole the expensive Cartier Trinity band when the actress, who is expected to welcome her new arrival into the world this month, is in the delivery room.

A source said: "It's three rings intertwined, so it's very symbolic."

Keith Urban is "learning a new vocabulary" to prepare for fatherhood.

The country singer is so determined to be ready when wife Nicole Kidman gives birth to the couple's first child this summer he is attempting to learn all the baby words.

He said: "I'm learning a new vocabulary. We also got a tiny T-shirt that says 'I crawl the line' that we like a lot. We got a tie-dyed jumpsuit thing that we really like."
