Katy Perry keeps forgetting she is married.

The 'Firework'singer tied the knot with comedian Russell Brand, 35, in an intimate ceremony in India last month but still can't get used to calling him her husband.

She said: "I forget to call him 'my husband' sometimes and still say 'my boyfriend'. But I'll get there."

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have put themselves on a diet.

The pair - who tied the knot at the luxury Aman-i-Khas resort in Rajasthan, India, last month - are determined to get fit and feel healthier, and so have cut out all wheat and dairy until the end of this year.

A friend of the couple said: "Katy and Russell are taking care of themselves and are on a mission to get fit. As well as cutting out wheat and diary, they're on a diet of raw vegetables, tofu and pulses.

The 'Get Him to the Greek' star - who tied the knot with singer Katy Perry in India last month - admits he is smitten with his new wife and hasn't stop smiling since the pair tied the knot.

He said: "I love being married. Katy and I, all we do is laugh. That's all I want to do, have a giggle."

The British comedian - who is rumoured to be marrying the 25-year-old pop star in India on Sunday (24.10.10) - will firstly take her to the island group of Mauritius before jetting off to the nearby Maldives.
