Eminem "scared himself" with the extent of his drug addiction.

The rapper admits he only gave up taking illegal substances for good after he relapsed just weeks after an almost fatal drug-taking session in late 2007.

He explained: "I had overdosed in 2007, like right around Christmas in 2007. I pretty much almost died. Eminem was once "hours away" from death.

The 'We Made You' rapper - who has previously spoken about his battle with a prescription drug addiction - admits that he felt "weak" admitting to having a problem.

Eminem wants to be an 'X Factor' judge.

The rapper is reportedly a massive fan of the UK TV talent show, and has told judge and producer Simon Cowell to get him on the panel so he can give the hopefuls advice on what it's like to be a global star.

Eminem doesn't think the current judges - Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole, Australian singer Dannii Minogue, the sister of Kylie Minogue, and music manager Louis Walsh - have been successful enough to help the acts.

Eminem's mother is marrying a bisexual man who tried to sue her last year.

Debbie Nelson has revealed plans to wed her agent, Neal Alpert, who launched a lawsuit against her and her co-author for a small percentage of the profits from her book 'My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem'.

The case was, however, dismissed last year.

Eminem is "not very well endowed", says his ex-wife.

Kim Mathers blasted her rapper ex-husband - who she married twice but finally split from last year - claiming he is useless in bed and relies on sexual enhancement pills to make love.

In the scathing attack, Kim ranted: "He's not very well endowed. If you're going to have sex with Marshall, make sure you have a little blue pill, because otherwise it does not work.

Eminem has threatened to leak nude photographs of Mariah Carey.

The rapper has released a track called 'The Warning', which blasts the 'Fantasy' singer and her husband Nick Cannon, and threatens to expose the brief relationship they had in 2001 by making public intimate pictures and voice mail messages.

Eminem's new album is inspired by serial killers.

The 'We Made You' rapper said he saw lots of documentaries on notorious murderers while preparing to write his latest album 'Relapse'.

He said: "I did find myself watching a lot of documentaries on serial killers. I've always been intrigued by them and watching movies like that, and I found that going back through my DVD collection and watching movies about killers sparked something in me.

Eminem has been branded a liar by his mother.

Debbie Nelson claims the image her son - real name Marshall Mathers -painted of her being a bad parent addicted to medication, living off welfare and neglectful of her youngest child is wholly untrue.

In her new memoir 'My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem', Debbie says: "At first I went along with it for Marshall's sake - if I made one mistake as a mother, it was giving in to my eldest son's every whim."
