Christina Ricci hates spending money.

The 'Speed Racer' actress never spends any of her wages and prefers to put her money into a savings account.

She said: "I like shopping but I don't like spending. I have trouble parting with my money. I'm not being very frivolous right now. I'm the past it was shoes. But right now I'm not buying clothes. I'm saving.

Christina Ricci is tired of partying.

The 'Speed Racer' actress admits she can't keep up with the pace of her friends and likes to be tucked up in bed at a reasonable hour so she can get her beauty sleep.

She said: "I'm always in bed by 11 or 12 and people laugh all the time - they want me to hang out until two in the morning, but no, I need my nine hours."

'Speed Racer' star Christina Ricci doesn't have a car.

Although the actress stars in new high-octane racing movie 'Speed Racer', she doesn't own her own automobile and hates driving too quickly.

Ricci said: "I did drive a Porsche 911 but the lease ran out. I appreciate fast cars a lot, but I don't like to drive that fast."
