Celine Dion inspired by Mandela for baby name

Celine Dion has named her twin sons Eddy and Nelson.

The 'My Heart Will Go On' singer - who gave birth to the boys via Caesarean section last Saturday (23.10.10) - and her husband Rene Angelil have named the boys after record producer Eddy Marnay and human rights campaigner and former South African President Nelson Mandela, who the star met two years ago.

Celine Dion's singing ban

Celine Dion has cancelled her scheduled concert in Chicago tomorrow night (04.11.08), after doctors banned her from singing for five days.

The 40-year-old singer - who had a special humidifier built to protect her throat during her Las Vegas residency from 2003 to 2007 - is unable to perform because she has been battling a nasopharyngeal infection, an infection in the upper respiratory tract, for the past week.
