Cate Blanchett "can't wait" to be licked by millions of Australians.

The 'Curious Case of Benjamin Button' star will appear on a special series of postage stamps to mark Australia Day on January 26.

The 'I'm Not There' actress recently gave birth to third son Ignatius Martin with her husband Andrew Upton and says the couple can't wait to further expand their brood.

Cate - who also has sons Dashiell John, six, and four-year-old Roman Robert with Andrew - said: "Having kids is very addictive, if you can, if you're able to and it's your choice and you've got a supportive relationship."

Cate Blanchett has the "ugliest haircut" she's ever seen in the upcoming 'Indiana Jones' movie.

The Australian actress says her "helmet" hair sends out a sign that she is playing a villain.

She told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "I've got the ugliest hairstyle I've ever seen - a sort of pudding bowl helmet cut.

"If that doesn't send signals that she's the bad girl then there's no point."

Cate Blanchett is creating a green theatre.

The 38-year-old actress and her husband, playwright Andrew Upton - who are both artistic co-directors of the Sydney Theatre Company - want to make the business the first green building on Sydney Harbour.
