Britney Spears has been nominated for two MTV Europe Music Awards.

The 'Gimme More' singer - who scooped two prizes at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month - has been shortlisted for Album of the Year for 'Blackout' and Act of 2008.

Britney Spears won't extend the restraining order against former friend Sam Lutfi.

The singer's attorney Samuel D. Ingham III confirmed the Britney and her co-conservator, her father Jamie, had decided not to apply for the order to continue.
