Shia LaBeouf's rehab trip

Shia LaBeouf is reportedly heading to rehab.

The 'Transformers' star - who was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) after a car accident late last month - is said to be considering a visit to a rehabilitation clinic to combat his alcohol addiction.

A source told US TV show 'Extra': "He is thinking about going to rehab. Judges like to see it."

However, a representative for Shia - who required extensive surgery on his left hand following the crash - refused to confirm or deny the rumours, adding: "Right now, we're focusing on Shia's hand."

Shia was told last week he would not be charged over the car accident as the other driver was at fault.

Los Angeles Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore explained: "The other car ran a red light and, if not already, they will be cited.

"They will now be listed as Party One on the report, indicating they were at fault."
