Colin Farrell's Forrest love

Colin Farrell is reportedly dating English novelist Emma Forrest.

The 'In Bruges' actor has been seeing the writer for around six months, and is said to be so enamoured with his new love he has swapped alcohol-fuelled nights on the towns for cosy evenings in with her.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Colin is a changed man. He has knocked the drinking on the head and is enjoying life in a completely different way. Emma has been a steadying influence.

"They have spent months trying to keep the relationship secret because they are falling madly in love. In the past, Colin has gone for stereotypical movie star girlfriends but Emma has offered him something completely different."

It has also been suggested the couple are planning to move in together in Los Angeles in the near future.

Earlier this month, it was reported Colin, 32, had married Irish student Muireann McDonnell after the actor was seen sporting a band on the ring finger of his left hand.
