Paul Weller's Mod son

Paul Weller says his son has a natural 'Mod' hair style.

The former frontman of 'The Jam' has revealed his youngest son Mac has already inherited his father's sense of style.

Paul - dubbed 'The Modfather' - said: "My youngest lad is about three, but he just naturally has a mod haircut.

"You wash it and dry it and it's just there. Brilliant. You always hope you can pass something good onto your kid."

Mac is Paul's youngest child with his partner of 10 years, Sammi. The couple also have a six-year-old daughter Jess. In addition, the singer has a 10-year-old son Dylan from a previous relationship and two children, Natt, 20 and Leah, 16, from his marriage to Dee C. Lee.

Paul recently credited his haircut with his continued success in the music industry.

The 50-year-old musician said: "It is a total relief I still have all my hair. Imagine if I had lost it. It would have been a total disaster. Nobody could take a bald mod seriously.

"I was talking to Robert Plant about this and he was saying that was the secret to his success, keeping his hair. Led Zeppelin would never have done those shows in London if he or Page were bald. No chance."
