Simon Cowell arranging couples night

Simon Cowell is planning a couples-only dinner party for his fiance.

The music mogul wants to show everyone in his life how much make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy - who he got engaged to in February - means to him, and his friends are calling the plans a "big deal".

A source close to the couple told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "To help make her feel at home, Simon's agreed she can help him host an exclusive dinner party with only their closest friends invited. It's a big deal for Simon as he doesn't embrace domesticity easily."

Guests have been told they can expect a "fun champagne fuelled do" and attendees are expected to include some of Simon's closest friends, such as 'Britain's Got Talent' judge Amanda Holden and her husband Chris Hughes and fellow judge Piers Morgan and his new wife Celia Walden.

Simon and Mezhgan have been spending a lot of time together this week after being apart for several weeks due to work commitments.

They went to see Leona Lewis - who won Simon's pop star search show 'The X Factor' in 2006 - in concert and Mezhgan also joined him in Dublin, Ireland, for this week's 'X Factor' auditions.
