Keith Urban is "learning a new vocabulary" to prepare for fatherhood.
The country singer is so determined to be ready when wife Nicole Kidman gives birth to the couple's first child this summer he is attempting to learn all the baby words.
He said: "I'm learning a new vocabulary. We also got a tiny T-shirt that says 'I crawl the line' that we like a lot. We got a tie-dyed jumpsuit thing that we really like."
Keith also revealed he prefers it when Nicole stays at home while he is on tour, because it puts less pressure on their relationship.
He added: "I love having her with me when I tour, but at the same time, it's work. You don't want to ask too much of your family."
Keith and Nicole married in June 2006 in Sydney, Australia.
Nicole also has two adopted children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
