Peter Andre sick of split 'pantomime'

Peter Andre has blasted Katie Price for turning their divorce into a "pantomime".

The 'Behind Closed Doors' star is furious with his soon-to-be ex-wife's behaviour and feels she is making a mockery of their marriage by publicly talking about their relationship.

A friend of Peter's said: "It reduces the whole painful split to a bizarre pantomime, that's how warped it has become. Peter thinks it's just all in the most disgustingly bad taste, it's stomach-churning."

The 36-year-old pop singer was further enraged this week by Katie's latest interview in the UK edition of OK! magazine in which she blames Peter's jealous behavior for destroying their marriage.

The 31-year-old glamour model claims Peter was envious of her close, but platonic, friendship with married dressage teacher Andrew Gould.

In the magazine Katie - also known as Jordan - posed for photographs with Andrew and his wife Polly, with all three wearing horse riding outfits.

However, Peter thinks the shoot and accompanying interview have only been conducted to humiliate him.

His friend added to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "He's been through hell these last few months - and for them to mock it felt like a public humiliation for him."

Since they split in May, Katie - who raises three children, Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii, with Peter - has been dating cage-fighter Alex Reid.
