Pixie Lott plans to stop ego

Pixie Lott wants to be beaten up if her ego gets too big.

The 18-year-old singer is determined not to change just because she has become successful, and has a drastic plan in place to ensure her feet remain firmly on the ground.

She said: "If anyone tells me I've changed or turned into a bighead then I'm giving them permission to slap me! Or kick me! Kick me and slap me please. I've made a vow to myself not to change."

Although she is wary about the pitfalls of fame, Pixie - who recently topped the UK singles chart with her song 'Mama Do (Uh Oh Uh Oh)' - plans to devote herself to her music career over the coming months, leaving her little time for love.

The young starlet has warned any potential suitors she would be a hopeless girlfriend anyway.

She explained: "I'd make a rubbish girlfriend and am warning any man out there not to like me - honest, I'm just not worth it.

"I'm rubbish at timekeeping and I'd always put my friends ahead of them. I'd never be around as a good girlfriend should be. My music always comes first."
