Fake flirt Lily Allen

Lily Allen claims she is shy when it comes to men.

The 'Not Fair' singer - famed for her public spats with fellow celebrities and slamming ex-boyfriends in her songs - gets embarrassed when she meets new guys and ends up putting on an overly confident act.

She said: "I actually lack a lot of confidence when I meet men. I guess I try to be funny or punchy when I'm actually feeling really shy."

Lily - who has been linked to several men following her split from Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons last year - insists she has only been in love a few times and would never lie about her true feelings.

She said: "I can honestly say I've never said 'I love you' and not meant it. I've been in love three times and loved all my boyfriends. I totally loved Lester [Lloyd], Seb [Chew] and Ed. They are the three loves of my life."
