James Corden ready for romance

James Corden wants to star in a romantic comedy.

Despite appearing in spoof horror movie 'Lesbian Vampire Killers', the British comic star really wants to show his emotional side on screen.

He said: "I don't really watch horror films because I get really scared. "I love romance. I watched 'As Good As It Gets' four times in a week once because I thought it was the most perfect films I had ever seen. A rom-com is what I really want to do."

If he ever gets his ideal role, 'Gavin and Stacey' star James already knows who he would like to star alongside - his girlfriend Sheridan Smith.

He gushed: "This sounds ridiculous but at the minute I'd really like to be in a movie with my girlfriend.

"I can't picture anything better than going to work with her every day. The prospect of being able to do something like that would be absolutely terrific."
