Sarah Jessica Parker's Hugh crush

Sarah Jessica Parker thinks Hugh Grant is "smart and sexy".

The 'Sex in the City' actress - who has a six-year-old son James Wilkie with husband Matthew Broderick - is about to star with the British actor in an as-yet untitled romantic comedy and admits she can't wait to work with her hunky co-star.

She said: "I think Englishmen live up to all the ideals and Hugh is a perfect example. He's a definition for all us less-travelled Americans of the classic literary and cinematic Englishman - witty and brainy.

"There's nothing smarter and sexier and more interesting than a brain and I'm very excited about working with him."

Sarah Jessica's love of England doesn't stop with Hugh - she is hoping to take on a role in a stage production in London's West End theatre district so she can move to the UK.

She added: "I've been asked in the past to star in the West end and been thrilled, because it's every actor's dream. But the timing has never been right for me family or work life.

"I hope someone will be foolish enough to ask me again because it's the excuse for us to come and live there."
