Fergie and Josh Dumahel marry

Fergie married Josh Dumahel yesterday (10.01.09).

The Black Eyed Peas singer wed the US actor in a private ceremony held at Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu, California.

Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am, rapper Kid Rock and actresses Kate Hudson and Rebecca Romijn were among guests at the wedding.

Fergie - real name Stacy Ferguson - wore a fitted, corseted white wedding gown with a long train designed by Dolce and Gabbana. Josh, 36, the bridesmaids and groomsmen were all dressed in black, with the men wearing white ties.

The couple exchanged rings with special messages written by each other engraved on them.

Last year Fergie said of meeting 'Las Vegas' actor Josh: "All my friends knew about him because he had been a soap opera star. I'm not into soap operas, but they told me, 'You got to go out with him. Do it for the group. Take one for the team.' "

More recently she told how married life won't be a huge change for the couple, saying: "We're practically married, anyway. I'm madly in love with him. He understands how to treat a woman and give me respect."

To keep the ceremony as private as possible, guests were not told the location of the service. They were instead contacted early on Saturday morning with a meeting spot, from where they were chauffeured to the site of the celebration. Cheers for the couple were heard shortly after 5pm outside the grounds of the estate, announcing the marriage.
