Emily Mortimer's shampoo shame

Emily Mortimer uses dry shampoo because she hates washing her hair.

The 'Match Point' actress - who is married to actor Alessandro Nivola - admits she does everything she can to avoid cleansing her locks.

She said: "I'm very unhealthy. I hardly ever get my hair cut and use Batiste Dry Shampoo so I don't have to wash it every day."

Emily also revealed she doesn't particularly like shopping, although loves finding gems in vintage stores.

She added: "Believe it or not, I don't really like to shop too often. I find it's like gorging on McDonald's - I really hanker for it and then, the moment it's over, I feel sick. I always end up spending too much.

"I'm getting into Topshop now, and often end up parting with a lot of money there. But New York department stores like Barneys are my real undoing. I also like vintage shops. My 1930s wedding dress was from a London vintage shop. It's a shame vintage has become so expensive now."
