Verne Troyer tried to seduce Kelly Osbourne.
The 2ft 8ins star - who played Mini-Me in two 'Austin Powers' films - desperately tried to win Kelly over on New Year's Eve (31.12.08), while he was celebrating his 40th birthday at London nightclub Mahiki.
Onlookers claim Verne sent the 24-year-old star several tequila shots, but Kelly sent them back untouched, preferring to party with her boyfriend Luke Worrall.
A source said: "It was hilarious. Kelly was with her boyfriend but that didn't stop Verne. Despite his best efforts, Kelly just wasn't interested."
Undiscouraged, Verne partied on, even riding his scooter around the club before tearing up the dance floor alongside 'Disturbia' singer Rihanna and her boyfriend Chris Brown.
His security guard carried him out of the club at 2am, after he had spent £3,500 on alcohol.
Another source said: "He was great fun - life and soul of the party. He left yelling 'Happy New Year' to everybody."
Verne enters the UK 'Celebrity Big Brother' house tonight (02.01.09).
