Kings of Leon's sex education

Kings of Leon learned how to have "guiltless sex" with groupies by touring with their preacher father.

The band - comprising brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew Followill - admitted travelling with minister Leon helped them prepare for their sinful lifestyle.

Speaking to Geoff Lloyd on Absolute Radio, drummer Nathan said: "I think it definitely prepared us for this. I mean, I don't think just anyone could handle being away from home for 10 months out of the year, but you know it kind of helped us not to attach ourselves to a certain place for too long because we knew we were going to have to up and leave.

"So early on in our career it was perfect for the guiltless sex with the groupies, but now that we all have relationships it's a little tough."

Nathan - who also revealed he once had to have a stage hand peel bubblegum off his face after a bubble he blew exploded on him - claims there were even times he and his brothers indulged in carefree sex while following their father around.

He added: "Yep, we'd stay at the preacher's house in that town, or if we were lucky we'd get a hotel room or something every now and then."
