Ricky Gervais collects sleepsuits.

The 'Ghost Town' actor has revealed he loves the free pyjamas he is given when he flies first class, and has a variety of them in his house.

He said: "I've got four of those brand new sleepsuits they give you when you travel first class with British Airways. But when I travel I am like a 70-year-old woman. It's all about the comfort - no belts, no buckles, shoes off.

"But I love those sleep suits. I keep them in the packaging so they are ready when I want one. But they do look like little 'Star Trek' outfits so when I am wearing them at home I look like William Shatner."

Ricky also revealed he hates travelling on plane because he always manages to convince himself there is something wrong with the aircraft.

He said: "When I travel on a plane and I hear a bang I just look at the air hostess. If she is fine then I know it's OK but if she is panicking then I panic."
