Posted on 24th November 2008 12:00PMJonathan Ansell stunned audience members at his 'A Night at the Opera' show last night (23.11.08) when he proposed to girlfriend Debbie King.
The former G4 star - who has been dating TV presenter Debbie for three years - took to the stage at the London Palladium at the end of the show and asked blonde beauty Debbie to join him on stage "for a duet".
However, when Debbie - who looked stunning in an acid yellow dress - finally arrived on the stage from her seat in the Royal Circle, Jonathan shakily took a ring from his jacket pocket and got down on one knee.
He said: "These three years have been three of the best years of my life, and I was wondering if you would do me the honour of marrying me?"
As Debbie said, 'Yes!', the crowd erupted, cheering and clapping as Jonathan and Debbie were joined on stage by the rest of the cast for a rousing rendition of 'Libiamo ne' lieti calici' from 'La Traviata'.
Jonathan, 26, and former 'Quizmania' host Debbie, 31, first started dating after meeting in a London nightclub.
Jonathan - who shot to fame after appearing on TV talent show 'The X Factor' with his band G4 - has been touring the country with 'A Night at the Opera' for 18 dates.
He is now promoting his new solo album 'Forever', available in stores now.
